Wednesday, March 23, students from throughout Boston gathered in Downtown Boston to march to the Boston School Committee meeting to protest drastic budget cuts and school closings. The youth also respond to claims that their organizing was instigated and manipulated by adults with their own self-interests.

On Wednesday June 16th, Teens leading the way, a state wide coalition kicked off their “Lesson’s Today, Leaders Tomorrow” Campaign. Press Pass TV worked with members of the Worcester based HOPE coalition to cover this important event.
Press Pass TV taught a Young Boy’s Leadership Class at Edwards Middle School. We had 6 sessions to deconstruct some of the unhealthy images of manhood that the young boys saw around them and creatively examine what it means to be a man to them. The course examined men and women in media as well as in the community and their own family dynamics. Through guest speakers, movies, homework and music the young men learned to define ideas of masculinity for themselves.
